Knowing the holiday that will arrive on the final day of this week, it seems appropriate to feature this moving observance of an additional demise. Around this time of year forty-six years ago, I resided in a very pleasant apartment close to Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA, and thanks to the very comfortable weather of that region, my housemate and I would often spend our free time sitting on the home's front porch and listening to a rock radio's inspiring excursions, which included this moving observation!
